I make this garlic focaccia bread as a soft, fluffy, aromatic homemade bread infused with garlic, olive oil, and herbs. It’s simple, comforting, and perfect for sharing with family. Every bite brings warmth and homemade love to the table.
Ingredients

- 500g strong white bread flour
- 7g instant yeast
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 350ml warm water
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- Flaky sea salt
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
- Mix flour, yeast, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
- Add warm water and olive oil to form dough.
- Knead until smooth and elastic.
- Let dough rise until doubled in size.
- Transfer to oiled tray and stretch gently.
- Rest again for 20–30 minutes.
- Dimple dough with fingers.
- Drizzle garlic-infused olive oil and add herbs.
- Bake at 200°C for 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Brush with olive oil and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the dough rise overnight in the fridge. You can add cheese, olives, or chili flakes for variation. Best enjoyed fresh but stores well for up to 2 days in an airtight container.
