Description

This Honey Almond Cake is a soft, moist, and fragrant homemade dessert made with honey, almond flour, and a touch of vanilla. I love baking it for cozy afternoons and family gatherings. The honey brings natural sweetness while almonds add a rich nutty depth, making every bite comforting and elegant.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup honey
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tbsp honey for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C and grease cake pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Beat butter and honey until creamy.
  4. Add eggs one by one.
  5. Add vanilla extract.
  6. Combine dry ingredients and milk gradually.
  7. Pour batter into pan.
  8. Top with sliced almonds.
  9. Bake for 35–40 minutes.
  10. Cool and drizzle honey on top.

Notes

Do not overmix batter. Toast almonds for better flavor. Store in airtight container for up to 3 days. Can be frozen for 2 months.
