Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C and grease a 9-inch cake pan.
- Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Mix in honey and vanilla extract.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk.
- Fold in toasted walnuts.
- Pour batter into pan.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes.
- Cool before serving.
Notes
Toast walnuts before adding for deeper flavor. Do not overmix the batter. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or refrigerate for longer freshness. Warm slices slightly before serving for best taste.
