Description

Creamy Lemon Pasta with Shrimp is a bright, comforting seafood pasta made with fresh lemon juice, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and tender shrimp tossed in silky cream sauce. This easy recipe delivers restaurant-quality flavor in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 300g spaghetti or linguine
  • 300g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lemon (zest + juice)
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 60g Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • Fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup pasta water

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan.
  3. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and cook until pink, then remove.
  5. Pour in cream and stir gently.
  6. Add lemon juice and zest.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese.
  8. Add pasta water to loosen sauce.
  9. Return shrimp and pasta to pan.
  10. Toss everything together and serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor. Do not overcook shrimp. Add pasta water gradually for silky texture. Store leftovers in fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat gently with a splash of cream or milk.
