Description

A fresh, creamy, and comforting Lemon Pasta with Spinach recipe made with garlic, parmesan, and bright lemon. This easy weeknight pasta is ready in under 30 minutes and delivers a perfect balance of citrusy flavor and healthy greens.


Ingredients

  • 300g spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 lemon (zest and juice)
  • 120g fresh spinach
  • 50g parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup pasta water

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  5. Add lemon zest and juice.
  6. Drain pasta and reserve pasta water.
  7. Combine pasta with spinach mixture.
  8. Add pasta water gradually to create sauce.
  9. Stir in parmesan and butter.
  10. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

Notes

Use fresh lemon for best flavor. Always reserve pasta water for a silky sauce. You can add cream for a richer version or extra chili flakes for heat. Best served immediately while warm and creamy.
