Description

These mini bacon quiche are buttery, creamy, and full of savory flavor. Perfect for brunch, parties, or make-ahead meals, they combine crispy bacon, eggs, and cheese in a flaky pastry shell.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs
  • 200 ml double cream
  • 150 g cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 sheet shortcrust pastry
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 100 g grated cheddar cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Roll out pastry and cut into circles.
  3. Press into mini muffin tin.
  4. Cook bacon until crispy and chop.
  5. Whisk eggs, cream, and seasoning.
  6. Add bacon, onion, and cheese to shells.
  7. Pour egg mixture into shells.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden.
  9. Cool slightly and serve.

Notes

Use fresh eggs for best texture. Swap cheddar for gruyère if desired. Store in fridge up to 3 days or freeze for later. Reheat in oven for best results.
