Description

This pesto pasta with mozzarella is a creamy, fresh, and comforting dish made with tender pasta, fragrant basil pesto, and soft melted mozzarella. Perfect for quick dinners and full of vibrant Italian flavors.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 300g pasta
  • 150g fresh mozzarella
  • 4 tablespoons basil pesto
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 30g Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente.
  2. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
  3. Heat olive oil and sauté garlic.
  4. Add pasta and pesto, mix well.
  5. Add pasta water to loosen sauce.
  6. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Garnish with basil and serve.

Notes

Use fresh mozzarella for best results. Add grilled chicken or vegetables for variation. Store leftovers in fridge up to 2 days.
