Description

Quick Lemon Pasta is a bright, creamy, and refreshing 20-minute dish made with fresh lemon, garlic, butter, and Parmesan. It’s the perfect easy pasta recipe for busy weeknights when you want something comforting yet light and zesty.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 300g spaghetti or linguine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large lemon (zest and juice)
  • 80ml pasta water
  • 50g Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add lemon zest and lemon juice.
  5. Reserve pasta water and drain pasta.
  6. Transfer pasta into the pan with sauce.
  7. Add pasta water and toss well.
  8. Stir in Parmesan cheese until creamy.
  9. Season with salt and black pepper.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh lemons for best flavor. Always save pasta water for a silky sauce. Add grilled chicken or shrimp for protein. Best served immediately while creamy and warm. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat with a splash of water or olive oil.
