Description

This zucchini stir fry is a quick, healthy, and flavorful dish made with fresh zucchini, garlic, and savory sauces. Perfect for busy weeknights, this easy recipe delivers a delicious balance of texture and taste in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add sliced zucchini and stir fry for 4–5 minutes.
  4. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil.
  5. Add chili flakes and mix well.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Drizzle honey for balance.
  8. Cook for another 1–2 minutes.
  9. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

Do not overcook zucchini to keep it slightly crisp. You can substitute olive oil with vegetable oil and add tofu or chicken for extra protein. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
